On the west coast, on the beach, behind the church,there is the Folkestone park and marine reserve, open daily , 9 am - 5 pm. Here you can snorkel in a large area enclosed by buoys. There are lockers, toilets, showers. Buy your ticket for 1.5 usd from the giftshop in front.
